Why a deep voice is so sexy

Consider the celebrities who've good voices: George Clooney, Cher, Vin Diesel, Julia Ormond, Kathleen Turner, Sean Connery, Peter Coyote, Morgan Freeman, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kate Beckinsale, James Earl Jones, Ashley Judd not to mention the late great Barry White, among others. Now think about the voices of these actors: Don Johnson, Melanie Griffith, Fran Drescher, and Tom Cruise.

None of the voices amoungst 2nd grouping are memorable, much less sexy. Are you aware of what distinguishes the truly great voice from your not-so-great?

Please understand that I'm not talking about acting capability. I am only discussing the sound of the voice. All of those listed in the fantastic voice category speak in a deeper range that, with the right tone, can be extremely, sexy. While Griffith and Drescher are both stunning ladies, their voices do not exude sensuality. The former sounds like a bimbo; the latter has a nasal twang that is like nails over a blackboard. Don Johnson is certainly not hot when he speaks as the pitch of his voice is just too high. He often sounds like a lady when he talks. Similarily for Tom Cruise too. We have heard that they enhance the bass for Cruise in his movies. For that, you should be thankful!

The right look as well as the correct cologne could very well do wonders for your partner’s libido, but a deep voice resounds with warmth and sensuality that will cause you to be very attractive even if you're not built like Adonis or a Greek goddess.  A high-pitched voice, on the other hand, leaves your listeners cold. It is a turn-off as it is a lot more gonna be thin, reedy, nasal, strident, harsh, wimpy, weak, or loud. Amongst the qualities that the high-pitched voice can't possess is warmth since it is being powered by the throat, mouth, and/or nasal passages. For this reason the high-pitched voices don't seem to be memorable.

Solely those who use their chest as their main sounding board have voices that possess the warmth as their sound is really vibrating inside their chest cavity whenever they speak. And, it is this fact warmth which makes for the sensuality. Another way to understand this concept would be to think about how the voice being powered from the chest is similar to a viola, a cello or maybe a bass instrument, whereas the voice being powered by your voice box, the mouth, and/or the nose is more similar to a poorly-tuned violin.

There is a much better voice inside that is richer, warmer, deeper and very resonant. I refer to it as your ‘real’ voice. But you will only realize it once you let your chest do your talking. Aren’t you curious to discover just how sexy your voice might be?
